It's harder to get an education and become financially secure enough to actually support a child comfortably. So unless missy chrissy's pulling in at least 50k/year in a secure job, i think it was dumb of her to get pregnant. edit: i also love how most of you ppl are missing the point of this thread entirely. this thread is about deadbeat dads. getting someone pregnant, then leaving them to support your child by herself, is the lowest thing any guy can do. i don't care that the guy in question has the IQ and motivation of a goldfish. So preface your post with a comment about not airing dirty laundry in public, then add your $0.02 about deadbeats. Last edited by diva; Feb 25, 06 at 01:19 PM. |

Hey im not saying you should fucking applaud them. Calm down the tantrum meter a bit there. Both say they had Planned there pregnancies and both are going through with the situations. I admire my doctor i kno its not an easy job. I was just stating that going through the pregnancy isnt easy.
YEA GETTING PREGNANT is easy, i have said that so many times, i was on the shot and i got pregnant. It happens, but not all go through with it. Props to you for planning to become a Nurse or doctor, i know its not easy... My moms a nurse, my cousins a delivering doctor and my other cousins a nurse in the OR. So i have heard all about the education and how its not easy. I Go to school aswell ok i do work hard at what i do. You dont need a education like yours to make alot of money you know. My fiance does well and he didnt go to school for what he does. You still didnt explain why you specifically called Chrissy dumb. Unless its your assumption about how much her and her bf make a year, because you obviously dont know. Just cause your in school to be in the medical field doesnt mean you know what its like to go through this, or that you have the right to say who is STABLE enough to have kids. I don't care what anyone else thinks. I think that CHOOSING to get pregnant in your twenties, when you're not fiancially stable and have only known your partner for a few years is not only DUMB, but DUMBER than getting pregnant by accident. There, did that clarify things for you? Last edited by diva; Feb 25, 06 at 01:36 PM. |

Yes and thats common sense. Im adopted, given up by my birth mother for that very reason she was young, and well from what i have been told my birth father left when he found out she was pregnant. So my whole life i have grown up with that understanding. And its something we made sure we understood when we decied to keep our child. Although i dont believe in abortion for myself, so it would have been a hard situation. We know we can do it, financially, and emotionally and physically, and know how much this is what we want. Im sure Chrissy and her bf would have thought about it all aswell.

Personally, it really bothers me when ppl (any person) attacks spelling and grammer on FnK. It's not school, it's the internet and i would like to think most of us dont CARE that much to edit our work. Clearly, i don't. But if people want to be ignorant and think we are not capable of writing well then that's their silly asumption, isn't it? It's a low blow. I would never target someone's disability for a laugh. Cruel with a capital C. <3 |

Not just to missy, but to all girls that have got pregnant[on purpose or not] and aren't finacially stable. That's not fair to the child. |

jesus fuck. . missy has a significant other. You make it sound like she's doing it on her own. My parents raised 6 of us off of shitty jobs and we all turned out aok. 50k was all my parents made in a year put together. Everyone says it's really expensive to raise children. Well it's not that costly when they're babies.. and maybe instead of buying them nice clothes and flashy toys when they're toddlers, you just encourage more intelligent activities. Teach them to read at an early age, get them a little piano or some bongos.. hell, buy them a fucking yo-yo. I STILL play with yo-yos! Missy, and all the other pregnant girls, I'm sure your babies will be happy and healthy.

edit: and yeah, i've had more life experience than most ppl, but i'll be the first to admit that i'm life dumb. i'm only 23 years old! i've got a lot of learning and growing up to do before i can even consider being responsible enough for another human being. that's why i'm having a hard time believing that young girls who choose to get pregnant are making intelligent decisions. Its about the life you give your children not the amount you spend on them! And that with or without a significant other i might add. Yes in some ways the more money you have the easier it can be, but money isnt all that matters. |
