This friday will be the History of Breaks pre party. Not a more suitable place to host a pre party that focuses on breaks than at Vancouver's night for breaks, Big Beat Boutique. Intimate vibe and drink specials in effect.

Spilt Milk vs AWOL
Oldschool vs Newschool session
Spilt Milk and I will be throwing down an amazing oldschool set. Expect to hear classics from Spilt Milk's old mix tapes that made him known across Canada.

*UPDATE* After talking to Spilt, our set is going to be mainly funky ass oldschool and no newschool (sorry). Not the old Florida favs people play in Vancouver (when asked to play "oldschool") but real funky breaks (not that anything is wrong with Florida). Think pre 1999. Beware.

Skip EZ & Sydeways
Skip Ez's style is a wide range from 2 step into 4/4 breaks. Banging funk. This boy knows how to rock a party. DJ Sydeways will be tearing it up as usual.

Matty Mids
Co-owner of Hipnotik records, Matt has been playing everywhere lately. His crowd rocking style and fresh tracks have made him a favorite of mine and Vancouver's.

Another History of Breaks DJ will be added later this week.

Please show up early to avoid dissapointment. Extremely limited capacity.
