TUESDAY MAY 27 // LOTUS SOUND LOUNGE
PROPER.CA & AUTOMATIC present:: KLUTE Commercial Suicide, Metalheadz, 31, CIA - LONDON UK  Klute has been a fixture on the Drum and Bass scene for over eight years, lending his creativity to the likes of Metalheadz, 31 Records and his early stable Certificate 18, responsible for releasing his first two albums, Casual Bodies and Fear of People. In 2001 his own Commercial Suicide imprint was borne out of a necessity on Klute’s part to control his own releases as well as provide a support network for the ever increasing new generation of like minded producers. So far the label has seen releases by Klute himself, Calibre, Total Science, Digital, Spirit, Concord Dawn, Hive, John Tejada and more. Previous to this much lauded and rebellious electronic career, Klute fronted legendary Skate-Punk outfit, ‘The Stupids’, an apt schooling for a producer with this unique level of eclecticism. plus locals MATTY, JAY AUTO, WOOD, LINK & PSIDREAM Last edited by Wood; Apr 02, 03 at 09:48 PM.

WOOOW i just got Klute's two forthcoming LPs on promo CD.... i'm blown away, this is definitely some of the most intelligently produced dnb i've ever heard, and still has what it takes for the dancefloor. Actually one album is all dnb, the other is a mixed bag of techno, house, electro & breakbeat stuff that is all unmistakeably Klute. Interestingly, although the LPs will be released on his Commercial Suicide label, the dnb album also includes a couple of previous releases from other labels - "Song Seller" from 31, and "Part Of Me" from Hospital. The closing track on that album is a remix of and early CS release, "Glue Sniffer", retitled "Evo Sniffer". While this track is on the harder, more techno inspred side of things, the rest of the album is much deeper & atmospheric.
