the sound at the commodore rules, if i remember rightly they've got a wicket set of turbosound cabinets... the only problem last time is that they had way too many mixers and FOH snakes to deal with, i think the fools got confused (but that's what happens when you try and run 2 channels through 2 32channel desks..

sonar's sound (imo) sucks balls 9x out of 10... i don't know what kind of rig they have, or who runs it, but it's just ugly... hopefully it's better when POTD plays...

(last time i went to see dieselboy he didn't even get to play because the MORON promoters [reacharound] 'didn't have a set for him', then again, they also hired northern lights and PS to do the lighting for the event, so they must not have any brains at all, right narc?)

I want to be very clear that the show you refer to was the only time Dieselboy came to Vancouver without POUND Recordings' involvment. We had nothing to do with that show, just to be clear.

I've noted some people's concerns about sound here. Whether these concerns are a matter of preference or fact, I will pay special attention to the sound at Sonar for POTD. This will be awesome.

cerah, when dieselboy was here in november(with ph1.ca and pound), it went off large!..sound was actually wicked for sonar that night....

pound and ph1 will make sure sound it mint that night..no need to worry :)

ahhh yes.. that pathetic shithole gong fest in Princeton, last summer where Dieselboy was transported from the airport to the venue 3 hours away by cokehead losers almost half drunk only to hang out and get screwed and told after 6 hours of waitiing at the party he couldn't play then having to endure another 3 hours back to vancouver to the airport for the flight out... no hotel, no service and NO FUCKING RESPECT.

i just moved to Vancouver from Toronto (T-Dot what!!!)

and i have been searching and searching for at least 1 decent JUNGLE party and i think i have found it finally

if ne1 here has n e further info on jungle nights and events please Holla at me i would really really really really appreciate it THANX!!!!

I dont want anyone to think i am cutting them up cause thats not what i intended at all i am just so used to seeing headliners thats all

was way impressed with j-messinian last time around....

i have to agree with john in that the sound does get distorted in there cause its just too loud, but nonetheless it is a pretty dope venue.

my complaint about sonar...the wall between the main room and the bar with the seats...if that was gone it would be so much better.
