A Special Charity Event @ Pound

Imagine having to leap from your bedroom window in the dead of night, leaving behind everything you own as you frantically try to escape from flames licking at your door. This happened to some good friends of ours not too long ago. Like any group of young people sharing a house, our friends had no insurance. They lost everything.

This week at POUND we will do our part to help these kind and gentle people get back on their feet. 100% of all door and draw proceeds will go to the victims of this unfortunate fire.

The night will feature a rousing set of Nu Skool breaks from our main man FLUID, an Old Skool set of Breaks from TRADEMARK and an early Hip Hop set from Fly Antics' DJ girl, DJ SMOOTHIE.

There will also be a raffle for some tickets to special events around town. Please come out and support this worthwhile cause. Our community is all we have.

Wow that's tragic, I hope no one was injured (or worse killed). I'll do my best to make it down tonight and bring some friends.

Thats a tuff go and it's hard to make a recovery with no funds.

I'll be checking out the matix-reloaded tonight but if i'm done before 12 i'll drop in for a brew a support the cause.
