Electronica Classix - music from 1990-99 and nothing newer
hey all,
well, there have been enough retro nights featuring 70s and 80s music, and it is now 2003 and we felt like it was time for some 90s music! Every first Wednesday of the month, Cheeky turns into Electronica Classix, where DJs Abasi and Mysha (plus special guests such as Noah, Dr. Jones, Moses and more of Vancouver's legends) spin a healthy dose of tunes from back in the day. DJ Abasi focuses on the earlier side of things, while Mysha delivers the mid-later 90s tunes (and the guests play whatever they feel like). Classix have been running for almost 2 years and pioneering this concept in Vancouver. Sure, soon you will see tons of 90s nights pop up all over the place, but why not catch the one that started it all? What artists can you expect to hear from? How about: Underworld . hardfloor .
