Born in Leiden, Holland (The Netherlands), Armin has been driven to produce music since he first heard Dutch Master Mixer Ben Liebrand at the age of 14. He describes his musical style as euphoric, uplifting, melodic and energetic. At his current young age, Armin's career as a producer, in itself, has the capability to deem him as a global remixing and musical genius of the 21st century. As one of the three Dutch trance figures alongside artists Tiesto and Ferry Corsten, and working with world renowned DJ's like Paul van Dyk, he has produced numerous hits that have made a lasting impact on almost every European Electronic Music Chart since 1995.
