This week @ SHAPE we bring you
DJ Soma Bret has become a well respected crowd pleaser in the city of Vancouver. With seven years of experience ranging from mainstream clubs to underground events his fusion of progressive house and UK break beat is hitting hard and close to home. With a background in classical brass instruments and musical theatre his performance is a sweat soaked sex ride that unites the masses under one groove. After a year of touring and travel in Capetown, South Africa, Bret's recent work with Fundamental Productions, up coming record label/promotional company (Homeschooled Records) and weekly club nights have made him a local favourite. check out his website here http://www.fundamentalproductions.net Along for the ride playing the opener set: Oliver Nickels Last minute addition since he's moving away and we thought it would be nice to have him out before he goes!!
