Automatic 5 Year Anniversary Tue. Feb.03
AUTOMATIC 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
That's right kids, Five years ago we opened the doors of the drum and bass juggernaut that was to become Automatic with little more than a couple of records, a mic, and the will to tear the city a new one each and every Tuesday, while sampling Mr. Artois' finest. Little did we suspect that five years later we'd be still rolling as THE premier drum and bass night in Vancouver.

In honour of the occasion we can't think of any other way to celebrate than with another installment of our crowd-pleasin' aliigator-wrasslin' pants-droppin' big-hat-wearin' much-adored OLD SCHOOL CLASSIC (#14 for those inclined to keep count). Cover will be $6. We'll be digging waaaaay back for this one as always, and as always it'll be tight. Oh, and expect a special appearance on the mic of the one MC EFFECT, even if we have to kidnap him.

Of course, holding it down for the 257th time will be your selectors Matty and Jay-Auto.

Automatic Tuesdays, Vancouver's longest running drum and bass night, "Please God make it stop!", Tuesdays at the Lotus Sound Lounge, 455 Abbott St. at Pender.

The Automatic night has raised the bar for every promoter in this city. Congrats Jay and Matty.... though i'm already there week in and week out this one will be special. I think I may have to kick Jay's ass afterhours once again!

don't know ifr we'll do tickets for a-sides or kenny ken either....if i do tickets for the kenny ken show there will be a very limited # ONLY be available at the clubnight for our regulars most likely
