Perry Ferrell @ DanceStar 2004 during the Miami Winter Music Conference.
"But the biggest winners were the fans, who were treated to several outstanding -- and surprising -- performances. If DJs are the new rock stars -- as industry-types have been saying for years -- then it stands to follow that rock stars could become the new DJs. Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell proved that point in electrifying fashion, opening the show with a collaboration with Moby and van Dyk, techno's most recognizable face and one of the world's most popular DJs, respectively." can anyone fill me in on what style he's going to spin? I downloaded "Song Yet To Be Sung" but it sounds like a tribal song, with lyrics, and not much dancing to go with it.
Anyone know peretz style? I can't justify going to a show for notability alone... |
