Wednesday June 2nd we are proud to welcome back to Vancouver.... Toronto's Bad Man of Breaks D-MONIC (Pure Phunk Recordings, FOCUS / Toronto) * Dan Rice aka D-Monic is quite possibly the hardest working man in the Canadian breakbeat scene. DJing for over 10 years now, Dan has played many of Toronto's premier partys including residency with Lifeforce Productions and at Toronto superclub The Guvernment where he holds his FOCUS Events that too date have been graced by many of the worlds major breakbeat players including The Freestylers, DJ Icey, and Atomic Hooligan to name a few. Last year Dan started Pure Phunk Recordings, a sub label of Canada's top breaks label 2 Wars and a Revolution, in that short span of time Pure Phunk has made huge waves gaining support from some breaks top jocks. A true vet of the Canadian breaks scene, D-Monic is poised to be one of the leaders of the exploding worldwide breakbeat scene.
