lithe: yey!!! I saw you sign up! I am excited that you are coming... it's gonna be like Arts County Fair all over again ;-)

Carrie: don't worry, we are nice (ask lithe) :-) we won't spam, we send info about our parties... and if you don't want to be on the mailing list, we take you off.

But the main reason for signing up for this event is that we need to know how many people are coming, as the place is small and capacity is very limited, so we need to cap it... this way, we can keep track of who all is coming and announce the event as "sold out" once we reach that point. And we wanted to keep it invite only, etc...

PS: yes, I am part of Intimate Productions... we did a club night called Cheeky back in 2000-2003 and also been doing one off parties (most recently The Gong Show), and new years "parties" and such since around 1999/2000 :-) Most of our events are "semi-underground" (ie we advertise, but not huge, mostly through word of mouth, some online advertising, and our email list) and we keep the vibe tight and "intimate" ;-)
