DJ Rami (Montreal) at LOADED this Friday!
This week at LOADED (http://www.loaded.ca) we've got a special guest dj joining us from Montreal.
DJ RAMI Almost five years ago, based on a recommendation from a close friend, DJ Rami purchased turntables and a mixer in order to learn how to mix for fun. Countless hours were spent struggling to understand the art of mixing. This journey led him to discover his true passion for life as well as developing a unique style of mixing. After several events in Vancouver he moved back to Montreal in order to pursue his musical career. Since his return to Montreal, he has held a weekly residence at Troniq. One year later, DJ Rami is now making his return to Vancouver, as he will be playing LOADED on July 30th displaying his own style of house, best described as funky house with a tribally edge. Also joining us will be locals Travis Duncan and Siavash. DJ Travis Duncan At an early age, DJ Travis was always found playing with musical instruments. Whether it was strumming a ukulele or banging on the bongo drums, he was always found making noise. Throughout the years, he has played a diverse variety of musical instruments… the alto saxophone, the tenor saxophone, the drums, and the guitar. Four years ago, DJ Travis was introduced to the house music scene and immediately fell in love with the music. Two and a half years ago, two turntables and a mixer were purchased and with his new passion realized, hasn’t looked back. DJ Travis Duncan currently holds a bi-weekly residence at Tribeca restaurant and has been doing so for the past year and a half. His production company, Normal Man Productions, has thrown several successful parties in the Vancouver scene, most notable being, Leap. He is affiliated with Loaded, Goodlife Entertainment, and United Sound. Recently, he played at the Diversity Festival on Texada Island with some of Vancouver’s best talent. His selection of music can range anywhere from progressive house to breaks. However, his true roots lie with tribal infused beats. Joining these 3 will be LOADED resident Mr Markus. Just a reminder that this will be the last LOADED Friday. Colin and Markus will be taking 2 weeks off, then starting up LOADED SATURDAYS starting Saturday, August 21 . Thanks for all your continued support!!! LOADED 398 Richards St. 10pm-3am $8 Cover http://www.loaded.ca |
