The "twentyHz" Breakdown - Final Night Sept 29th (Lotus)

OK .... so this is it.... the last night of the infamous "twentyHz" series at Lotus Sound Lounge is this Wednesday September 29th.

Its been a fun run and though we could keep going we've decided to move on and venture into new and exciting territory.
Got to big up everyone thats been attending the night since we opened our doors last October. Some truely wicked nights, and some huge DJs past through in the last year including 2 sold out shows with Adam Freeland, a stormer of a Canada Day party featuring Tipper, can't forget Rennie Pilgrems Vancouver debut in June. Plus we broke some fresh international, Canadian & local talent with Chris Carter, Fort Knox Five, Dave Dub, DJ Love, Ali B, Angus Robinson, Shiloh, Influenza, and D-Monic all passing through.

Can't forget all the locals that passed through. We did our best to get many of Vancouvers top talent in breaks to play the night. Some we missed and for that we appoligize, but with so many good breaks DJs being in the city it was hard to accomadate to all. For those that did get a chance to play... Big up your chest!

Our residents proved to be a solid lot week in and week out. Many thanks go out to Czech, Shakes, Priceless, Murcutt for holding it down each week when called upon.... and of course big thanks to Vinyl Ritchie & Spence for there bi-monthly sets. All you cats are the cream of the crop in the breaks scene in Vancouver!

Many, many thanks go out to our staff at the Lotus. Our lovely door girl Ashley (kisses), bad boy bartender stars Jesse and Zubb.... and of course Kurtis with a K holding the place together. Big shout to Joel (the head honcho) for the oppurtunity to hold the night. Still the best club in the city to hold a night at.

I can't make it out to this tonight but just wanted to give MASS props to Soda and the crew at twentyHz for a job really well done.

We've seen some amazing Breaks talent come through the doors at Lotus and as a result, heard some world class Breaks.
