Gavin Froome (Nordic Trax) Verbrilli Sound (Upstairs Recordings) Kuma (Art of Beatz) Eve (Art of Beatz) Motomasa (Art of Beatz) Amalia Townsend (Sekoya) Den (Artificial Intelligence) Stutterstep (Artificial Intelligence) Join us, as Vancouver's voice of independence on the airwaves, CFRO, brings together some of Vancouver’s top electronic music DJs and producers in an effort to raise money for the station.  Making his debut in Vancouver and headlining the event is L.A. based producer/DJ, Pieter K, who makes his first Vancouver appearance that is sure to be a journey through the cutting edge sounds of now. As a DJ, Pieter K has performed coast to coast in the US. He's also played abroad as one of the first US DJs to be invited to England as well as having played across Europe and South America. Mirroring his diversified productions, he's begun spinning techno to enthusiastic response and on occasion, will play both techno and drum and bass in the same night. He's Released singles on legendary lables Breakbeat Science, Thermal, Phunckateck and Orgone lables. He was also the first US artist to be signed to the TOV label family when his "Riverine/Dig" was picked up by Renegade Recordings.   Also joining us with exclusive live P.A's will be Vancouver house icon, Gavin Froome and downtempo maestro, The Verbrilli Sound. Fresh off the release of brand new albums ("Underground Heroes" on Nordic Traxfor the former and the latter's "LifeSavers" on Upstairs Recordings, these two Vancouver stars will be rocking the Backstage lounge in a distinctly Vancouver style. Rounding out the artistic support are DJs Kuma, Eve and Motomasa from CFRO's only electronic music show, Art Of Beatz as well as Artificial Intelligence residents Den and Stutterstep and vocalist Amalia Townsend from local nu-jazz group, Sekoya.
