The Relick presents the Raggabot Posse - Jan. 30th
From the crew who brought you last month's General Malice show, the Relick is proud to present the Raggabot Posse: ERS1 and Dialekt
SUNDAY JANUARY 30  Exclusive Riddims Selector One a.k.a. ERS1 formerly Dj Magneto started djing in 1992, playing hip-hop and "rave" techno mixes, now known as oldskool jungle. After a brief interest in the hardcore scene he quickly turned to music that had a dubwise funky flavor, and intricate mix or hip-hop, funk, soul, reggae, jungle and dub. Performances by ERS1 undoubtably reflect his turntablism skills, soundclashing knowledge and bashment theories, creating an overall entertaining time. He stands behind his standard that being varied and well versed technically and stylistically are of the highest importance when stepping up to the decks. More recently he has teamed up with Alter Echo doing dub influenced hiphop riddims with recent releases including tracks on Dj Spooky's Dubtometry, Riddim Clash, and Combat Dub II. As a live PA they mix down the tracks dub style and add more sauce on with turntableistic sounds and lick -a-shot samples.  An emerging figure in the underground ragga jungle scene, Justin (known to some as Dialekt) has developed a sound being championed all across America and beyond. his mashed up, exclusive dubplates can be heard by the top echelon of ragga deejays nationwide, from LA to DC and also Canada. Encompassing all aspects of the 'badboy yardie' and soundclash culture and throwing them into the mix with scorching amens and booming basslines, his tunes are more than likely to get junglists calling for a rewind. A growing array of tracks he has produced make sure he is able to play something you've never heard before at a party, where he will no doubt be rockin classic old skool ragga jungle alongside the newer bizniss with soundboy killin effect. Releases on various jungle labels (including the legendary Herb'n Records) are coming soon. Dialekt's tunes have been slaughtering dancefloors worldwide. Once again, many thanks to all who came out. This night is developing into one of North America's top jungle bashments. Djs from all over have been contacting us about coming up here to play.
