Lotus Long Weekend IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Hey everyone,

We are pleased to announce that we have just added a third room to our Lotus Long Weekend party (March 24, Lotus Hotel; http://www.intimateproductions.com ).

In an effort to bring our scene a little closer together, we have joined forced with the "UOY KCUF" (every 2nd & 4th Thursday @ Lick) crew to bring you more sounds, more DJs, and more great vibes, to make these already legendary parties even more so.

The "UOY KCUF" crew are hosting an "Active Pass" special event in the 3rd room (Lick, upstairs) as follows:

here is a little note on the artists:

Tomas Jirku has quickly established himself on the international electronic music scene. From his humble beginnings of independently released CD-Rs and MP3s, Jirku's unrelenting, unpredictable explorations of techno have since been released on prestigious record labels around the world.

Rob Warren is a 25 year old producer and dj from Vancouver, British Columbia.With a primary focus on the deeper sides of house and techno, Rob's influences range from the Detroit house and Berlin techno.

Kris Palesch is no new kid on the block either. Having been involved with Boomtown records, and now Active Pass records and Arbutus recordings, this DJ/producer/record store/label owner is one of the best in our fair city.

Last but not least, Son of Jacob (Trevor) and littlejon who are definately no strangers to our city. Having been involved in the Vancouver scene as part of the legendary Soundproof crew, always delivering quality techno music for the last 5+ years, these guys are part of the crew who bring you "UOY KCUF" every 2nd & 4th Thursday @ Lick, showcasing kick ass techno live PA and DJ performances.

and of course, the already hot Overproof and Intimate/Cheeky rooms as follows:

Miss Myra: that was so awesome when you guys came to the one in November and partied with us... you know how I love it when you come and party with me ;-)

mapleleafe4ever: you have NO IDEA dude! These Lotus Long Weekend parties usually have a line up down the block (ask those who came after 11:30 and had to wait in the line up going all the way around the side to Wild Rice!!!)

Oh yeah, did I mention: BE THERE BEFORE 11:30 or suffer the line up.

just got a STACK of new electro for this!

In fact, since it has been FOUR bloody months since the last LLW, I have got a TON of electro accumulated and aching to get LLW exposure ;-)

We are talking electro-house, electro-prog, electro-breaks, electro-trash and straightup-electro... all the different flavours baby! yea!
