As of now I understand that Sonar is not going host the dnb night anymore b/c of complications w/ the club owner. Basically he's a prick and no-one should try and do business there.

Sonar is probably one of the worst run club's I've ever come across.

Their bar staff for the most part is terrible, positioning of the dj booth and sound is laughable to say the least, the fact that the place is falling apart doesn't help, and finally you have two half wits that don't have a clue of what they're doing in there.

The last two times I've been there, I've seen the owners messing with the mixers causing such a horrible bass feedback that it was unbearable; as well as grabbing the monitor from the dj who is attempting to mix and turning it away to try and fill their insufficient sound at the back of the club.

This is what happens when you have people doing things that they have no clue about. If you own a club and don't have a clue how to run it, for god's sake hire someone that does.

With proper ownership drive and some creative minds in there Sonar could have been saved. My guess is the Dubai Twits are losing money hand over fist right now.

It serves them right, amatuers should stay at home.

its technically the exact same venue... same lay out, no reno's whatsoever... they put up a bunch of drink posters on the walls that look really tacky. What do you expect from two, 50 year old dudes. That and they don't seem to give a shit that some of their dj equipment is faulty.
