apparently there are ghosts down there... back in the day, the downstairs (Lotus) was a bank vault or something, and someone got trapped in there and died and apparently the ghost is still down there to this date. I have heard it is a friendly ghost though :-)

Male Model Machine are 2 kids from Vancouver who are quickly making a mark on the dance music industry. With their love of music and the machines that make it, these boys have created some of the most raw sounding dance music around. Recently scouted and signed by Black Van Records (NYC) their latest release is out now with remixes by Chopstick and the Cheshire Catz. The Boys from the Machine and welcome you to celebrate their release with the first of 2 parties featuring UK Electrohouse master Chopstick at their home, Signal Saturdays.

Alright! Hope everyone has recovered from a Lotus-errific weekend last week. And what a weekend it was down in the basement! Thanks to all those who came out and made it one of the busiest and most memorable nights down there. Next installment of the Male Model Machine release parties will take place Nov. 25 w/ Cheshire Catz (UK), fFormula (NYC) and the local heros, MMM (click here for details)

In the meantime, this week (Nov. 18) residents Abasi + Woodhead are ready to deliver an excellent mix of discopunkfunkhouselectrorocktechno like no other.

Holly gong show bat man! What a carzy night! Happy birthday again to Play-it-hard and Pennywise (and anyone else who came down and rocked out with us for their b-day). I had a blast playing for such a great crowd who was just diggin' the tunes and having a great time!

Robyn:good to see you again! It will be my pleasure to play danecrock for you anytime :-)

I am gonna try and put together the track listings for my set from last Sat. if I get a chance this week, and post it here for ya'll to see what sort of tunes were being played...

/\ nice! well, I am going to be there too :- Hehehehehheeh... I want to make a point of meeting more of you who post here and have been coming down. LazyRich has promised me he is going to get drunk with me (as if that is a hard thing to do), so I think rounds of shots are in order!


This Saturday, Dec. 2 we have DJs Abasi + Andy Clockwork on duty. Yours truely (Abasi) will be playing the first set, and dropping tunes of italoelectrodiscofunkpunkdeeprockhouse variety to start things off. Mr. Clockwork will then take over and deliver a healthy dose of all things electrohousetechno.
