Next up: Saturday, Jan. 20:
Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007: Signal Sessions vol. 2 - CD release http://www.intimateproductions.com/e...yer.asp?EID=55 Signal Sessions are back with the second volume in the series, this time with residents Woodhead and G-rock in the mix. Darren, aka "Woodhead" starts off this compilation with CD1, going from the deeper/chunkier side of electronica with tracks like Spirit Catcher's "Sweet Deal" and Jesse Rose remix of Pan Pot's "Black Dog", all the way to the minimal side with Booka Shade's "Darko" and finishes things nicely with the amazing Trentmoller remix of Djuma Soundsystem's "Les Djinns". On CD2, Greg, aka "G-Rock" takes the torch from Woodhead and zooms in on the electro-house side of things, with tracks like Chris Lake's "Bablo" and D. Ramirez's "La Discotek", spices it all up with the awesome new remake of the classic Prodigy track "Smack my bitch up", done by Mantrix as well as a remix of Signal's incredible production duo, Male Model Machine's "Control the "Instruments". He tops it all off with the chunkiest, techiest of all tracks, Solid Groove's "This is sick". There are only 150 copies of this very limited release, so come early to grab yours (available on a first-come basis, with paid cover). This Saturday, 10pm-3am-ish @ The Lotus! Next up in the Signal Sessions series are Andy Clockwork and Ollie Ple, due in April 2007. See you on the dancefloor! -f. |
