Signal Saturdays | Saturdays @ The Lotus
It is with great pleasure that the crew of Intimate Productions (Farshad, Steve & JJ) officially announce their new weekly at the Lotus Sound Lounge:
SIGNAL Saturdays. The goal of this night is to provide the most enjoyable Saturday night clubbing experience in Vancouver with fun, upbeat dance music, while keeping things fresh, on the cutting edge and consistent every week. Putting Electronic Dance Music at the helm, we aim to deliver a consistent dose of exciting music primarily focussed on house, electro and techno and all their variations with a splash of breaks. To achieve this goal, we carefully hand picked (5) of Vancouver's finest, most diverse and experienced DJs who will work this formula in the fashion that meets this "fun" yet "cutting edge" critera. Further, we have also selected (2) of Vancouver's producer/DJ exports to the International dance scene who have and continue to gain world-wide recognition for their music production and performance work. Withouth further ado, they are: Weekly residents: Andy Clockwork Abasi Woodhead G-rock Ollie Plé along with quarterly residents: Mathew Jonson Male Model Machine This Saturday (Jul. 8) will be our soft opening featuring DJ Abasi and Ollie Plé , with our grand opening planned for late August/early September, allowing us to work out the bugs in the meantime and put the finishing touches on. Signal Every Saturday @ The Lotus Sound Lounge (455 Abbott Street at Pender) Doors open @ 10pm / 19+ $10 cover, email [email protected] for guest list and other enquiries. See you down there, Steve, JJ & Farshad Intimate Productions :: http://www.intimateproductions.com |

A lot of great International DJs and clubs have been going this route, as more and more people are realizing it is more interesting/fun to mix things up during their sets, as long as a nice flow is maintainted. Although, we are keeping our focus on the 4/4 tip. -f. |
