Did anyone else go? Stomp was playing on Robson St. and when 4:20 went down, I heard this cheer from what must have been 10,000+ pot activists. Thanks for getting high with me Vancouver.

Nate it's not a rally, its just a bunch of stoners assembling for the excuse of smoking copious amounts of weed because it's 4-20 on the calander.

It actually had a negative effect on me, and I decided that between the waco fire and the columbine shooting, I'd rather not even blaze let alone come out to what more than likely would be a large variant of hoodrats and jugalos.

I smoke pot to chill, not to be surrounded by vermin.

exactly. taking a day off work to chill with stoners and head downtown to smoke joints with randoms was never for my fortay but each their own. i don't mind the ocasional doob here and there for those stressful times or times i just want to relax but the hype for 420 in this city is almost embarassing.

to be honest i've never been to any of the pot rallies since i've known of them... altho after seeing the type of crowd that comes out to these things i'm actually glad i didn't involve myself with that crowd.

on that note...shouldn't the pigs crackdown on the assload of underage teens getting blazed? i mean this shit is practically legal to carry (nowadays)... it's just that what i saw yesterday was a low-down dirty shame.

If being motivated and having a decent job makes you "ALL ABOUT THE MONEY" you might as well toss me on that list too.

If I had my way I would have taken a fire hose to that entire gathering.

They should start treating the skytrain stations east of main like an airport gate, we wouldn't have half the problems downtown.

I was listening to the beat briefly yesterday and I found it really stupid how they themed the whole programming of the afternoon towards "happy 420 ra ra ra" while making a bunch of stupid comments and discussing stupid things but never directly referenced actually smoking weed...... I found it very phoney and 'bandwagonistic.' For me, smoking weed isnt about putting wierd shit on my pizza and coming up with stupid far fetched ideas. Its brain medicine.

Im glad there are a breed of intellectual and intelligent stoners out there, who dont need a stupid day for an excuse to get fuckin frybagged!

why's it such a big deal that people want to take one day off to chill out and smoooke?
fuck, drinkers get so many holidays dedicated to drinking
eg. christmas eve, new years, st pattys etc.
give us one fucking day!!!!!!!!!!
