Good bar to hold a party in Vancouver?

I'm thinking of putting a Christmas party together for my friends, work mates, friends of friends etc somewhere in Vancouver (downtown preferred) for Christmas.

Looking for a cool place with a bar (duh) and decent sound system (will have own dj equipment) that opens till 2am and has cool/friendly staff.

Expecting around 50 - 70 peeps to turn up not sure how much $ to expect through the bar but hoping we could have the place for free with an agreed mininum bar spend.

Any ideas/experiences anyone?
