I did pm Sir K and voice my opinion...

although the events are all seperate it does eat up space on a 1 page layout. The only way of keeping a post in the fresh bin is to constantly have posting activity within it. :) In some cases a superthread containing several events might be more effective. We'll have to explore the options.

When AGRO had made the post originally I responded NP as in No Problem.

I talked to Form about it and figured that as long as I didnt bump them all at the same time it wouldnt be a problem until the threads dropped, then start a superpost. At the time there was 5 posts.

We just launched a new night (Girl Fridays) that launches this Friday so I had to post about that one, since the rest were all there and adding another (7th) superpost would be double-promoing.

The Weekly All-Nite party post is an attempt (stress the word, attempt) to consult the scene to see what people would like to see. Evidently, the thread is going nowhere along those lines.

Wykidgrl was trying to help by bumping them all to the top, I let her know the scoop and its cool now.

If anyone has run 6 concurent weeklies before, PM me with some advice on the best way to promo for them. Its a bit tricky as to get the same exposure as the team with one night you have to almost flood a forum. While it's cool we're making tremendous progress, growth doesnt come without its pains and this is one of them.

they're only growing pains if it's a hardship for you.

you bumping a bunch of threads no one really replies to anyways are not 'growing pains'. they're you being obnoxious. if you can't fill your nights, promote them in other ways than getting your live-in girlfriend to ask you questions.
