Fat Kats presents A Shot in the Dark, Oct. 25th Nanaimo, VI
This Halloween we're gonna try something different.
We're not just gonna throw a halloween themed show, we're gonna throw a truly dark show. Those of you who love the darker neglected genres of electronica, or those of you who want a new experiance this is for you. We have a perfect indoor location for this show, we are going great lengths to bring you a unique and visully stunning set up. This show is fully lisenced, which means we'll be serving all kinds of liquor! It also means its 19+, so leave the kids at home. There will more info on this comming very soon. We'll keep you posted. Line up, thus far: Sorceress vs. Ms Innocent Evil, Dark techno/Vic/Van BC's bad girls squarin off in a set of darkest, hardest set possible. Flexus Live PA, EBM industrial/Van Playing at goth/industrial clubs such as Flesh & sanctuary. This will something new to most in attendance, LIVE PA dance industrial at its finest. Crazy Dave Hardcore, EBM / Van If you follow the local hardcore scene then you already know this name. A staple in the vancouver underground scene, he just seemed an obvious choice. Condition Red Hardcore/Deathchant/Vic White birds own Condition red! This guy has massive dj experiance! He's gonna lay down a set of hardcore so dark and hard you'll think somethin's broken! Pants dark/ev0l step, dark synthy house Our own beloved Pants! He's going to be bringing you a sumfin a little different. Dark foreboding and synthy. You know, Im not even sure what it is, and I've heard it. But I love it, and so will you. AntiGuru Electroclash! We've tracked down the 'ellusive' AntiGuru to bring bring you the vogue sound of Electroclash. We've love this genre, with its bleak, jaded lyrics and its playful synthy basslines. We're betting you will too. Shaihan Industrial, ebm, gabber, a bit of everything Host and Dj of CHLY's Blurred edges, He will be setting the mood with his usual dark stylings. -+>ericB

Important - ASID will now be a 17+ Age Limit Event!
Important - ASID will now be a 17+ Age Limit Event! Due to technicalities in the B.C liquor laws we couldn't get the license to serve alcohol at the party...and thus we've lowered the age limit at the party to 17+ to accomidate this change. Just a little heads up for everyone... Oh and listen to CHLY 101.7 on your FM dial (or www.chly.fm and click on "Listen Now") on Friday Nights @ 12am - 4am for "Blurred Edges" with DJ and Host Sheahan, who will be opening the night up for everyone at ASID!
