AMERICAN MASSIVE: Sex, Drugs, Rave & Roll- Portrait Of A New Generation?

AMERICAN MASSIVE
SEX, DRUGS, RAVE & ROLL

-Portrait Of A New Generation?-

Genres: (Trance) (Breaks) (House) (Drum 'n' Bass) (Techno)

American Massive is a real eye opener to the American Rave scene. This film was conceived by Steve and Jon Levy, owners of America's premiere electronic music label, Moonshine Music, and brought to life by up-and-coming Los Angeles director Thomas Trail.
The concept was to document a brief moment from this amazing movement. Shot on the Moonshine Overamerica 2000 tour, American Massive shows you the rave scene from its participants' perspective: the DJs, the promoters, the artists, and the kids. 24 Cities, 13,000 miles in 32 days with some of America's biggest names in electronic music, including AK1200, Christopher Lawrence, Carl Cox, Cirrus, D:Fuse, Dara, Micro, Frankie Bones, John Kelley and Keoki.

American Massive shows you the rave scene from its participants perspective.
You'll see frank interviews with the people who have shaped the scene as
well as interviews with law enforcement officials, and scenes from the
infamous drug raid on "Disco Donnie's" event in New Orleans.

American Massive chronicles every event, from underground warehouse
parties in St. Louis to the 40,000-person " Monster Massive" rave in Los
Angeles. In between the shows, you'll see behind the scenes life on the
road, with some of the biggest names in electronic music, along with clips
and extended interviews.

What happens along the way is part "Spinal Tap," part "COPS" but mostly "Rave & Roll."

DVD extras include, bonus scenes, interviews, out-takes and general
debauchery.
