Our official re-launch date is set - Saturday October 5th. Get ready for a whole new vibe, 'cause our new format is NO format - or at least no rigid musical boudaries. Our only mission is to make you dance. week 1 guests: KONRAD BLACK (Swayzak Recordings, Dirty) OTAKU (2Guerilla) Expect an eclectic mix of styles from these 2 stalwart Vancouver DJs, plus more treats for the beatheads from residents LINK & WOOD. This venue is perfect for lounging with a martini, or cuttin' it up on the dancefloor, whichever you prefer. For those that don't know.... Konrad Black is signed to Swayzak's label as well as Studio K7. Hot shit... no doubt! Formerly known as Dj Remedy, he was a resident at Presha and Airtight back in the day, playing the D&B. He now is known for playing some of the fattest beats around from ElectroClash to unidentified weirdness. His clubnight -- Dirty Mondays @ Shine -- is one of the busiest and best in the city. Simply put, he'll rock the place. Period. John Otaku is a staple in Vancouver electronic scene. Though he tends to work his magic behind the scenes, he is magic behind the decks as well. An intergral part of 2Guerilla Productions and Nordic Trax, Otaku has helped produce more shows that you can shake a stick at. As a dj, his musical tastes are second to none. Expect Broken Beat, 2step, Dnb, Rare Groove, Funk, anything.... you know you're gonna get good tunes. This night will rock. BOH!

This week: DANA D vs MANOS ONE
For our 2nd week, we have Dana D (2Guerilla) playing an eclectic mix of 2step and broken beat madness. A veteran of the Vancouver scene, Dana D is a man of impecable musical taste and dj techniques. Joining him fresh from his UK dj tour is Manos One (Rewind-Records, Mindsilence.com, Musik Fiendz). Long known as one of the best dnb djs in the scene, many people don't know that Manos has been dj'ing hiphop since his teens. As a former DMC judge, this boy knows a thing or 2 about turntablism and how to impress. Busting out his old school hiphop styles, expect a skritchy-sktratchy turntablist set that will leave jaws hanging! L. The real question is... will AgroDAVE be there 2 weeks straight! :)
