Who have you seen from the U.K?
Not sure if I would go that far, again I have not heard Czech play for atleast 5 years now. I saw the Freestylers a few weeks ago and they put me too sleep. Just my 2 coins. :) If you come to the show you will be very surprised by JOn and Kevin Energy. :) Very good. Do you have any sets from Czech? I'd love to hear what he sounds like nowdays.

Hmmmm... Roni Size, Tiesto, Oakenfold, Judge Jules, Deep Dish, Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, Andy Farley, Timo Maas, Christopher Lawrence, Tidy Boys, Chris Liberator, Krafty Kuts, Aaron Liberator, Tall Paul, Adam Freeland, George Acosta, Dave the Drummer, Carl Cox, Sven Vath, Rachel Auborn, Nick Sentience, Steve Thomas, Graham Gold, Olav Basoski, Lee Coombs... and others that Idon't remember off hand. Now I can imagine that as these are professional DJ's and I've only seen most of them once or twice they do have there nights where they shine. On most nights though aside from the crowd often being stoked because they are "from the UK omg" they are not a whole lot better than some locals we could see any day of the week. By the same token having seen Czech so many times I've seen him play badly...

umm..nolan, i think he meant UK breaks djs.....
czech is easiily one of the best canadian breaks djs for sure...alongside the t.o boys(too many to mention) as well, breaks in the uk is all nu schoool now, dj hyper, adam freeland, 2sinners, aquasky, atomic hooligan, BLIM etc....... i dunno, do funky breaks even exist in the UK?

(^) One time when Czech played for me we got him sooooooooooooooooooooooo drunk that he wasn't really mixing by the end of his of set =)
(^^) Hmmm... Okay look all I'm saying is that Czech and many other locals can mix way better than a lot of UK DJ's I've seen.

These are'nt your typical ego inflated U.K headliners that will just stand there play disc after disc.
Like Badboy bill, saw him last week for the first time and must say the most boring dj I have seen in a long time. To each is own. I do hear you though. There are alot of local talent here that is banging, but how many of them are going to be able to play unreleased tracks by some of the main producers in the scene. Atleast in the Hard Dance genre. :) But I did add some banging local Talent, your very own Sould Kid is playing. :) :hehe: Anyone have a set of Czechs they could mail me? have'nt heard him in ages!
