[SEA][3/15] -=H E A V E N=- featuring BT [18+/21+]

USC Events is proud to announce the grand opening of our new weekly event,
H E A V E N every Saturday @ Noiselab!

H E A V E N will be Seattle's first weekly 18+ (with a full bars for those 21+) club night featuring the biggest names in electronic music... and tickets will always be $13!

And to truly make this a grand opening, we're bringing one of the biggest names in the industry...

A special DJ set by

BT - www.btmusic.com - Promoting His New Retrospective CD 10 Years In The Life In Stores Now!

There’s no denying Brian Transeau's profound role in the global development of dance music over the past decade, particularly in the U.S. where he was one of the first American artists to gain acceptance from Britain's turntable royalty. He's been revered in the U.K. for providing the top DJs of the mid-'90s progressive house movement (i.e. Paul Oakenfold and Sasha) with momentous ammunition for their epic sets. He was discovered in America via the stirring "Blue Skies," with vocals provided by Tori Amos and later lent his production skills to the music of pop-tarts N’Sync and Britney Spears .

"10 Years In The Life’ chronicles a prolific career in which BT has helped to shape and redefine electronic dance music again and again and this CD is testament to the immense talent of this classically-trained music aficionado from rural Maryland.

From house to trance to breakbeat, BT has successfully broken through the stereotype of the faceless "dance act" to become one of the most sought-after producer-remixer-composers in the world. For the past decade he has been creating music that has continually challenged both himself and his fans. His résumé includes remixes for Madonna and Deep Dish and as a producer, he has worked with such noted artists as Billie Ray Martin and Peter Gabriel. His ability to create true emotion with his music has helped him to achieve a successful film-scoring career (Go, The Fast And The Furious, and Driven to name just a few)

This superb collection of BT tracks, includes all of the great releases highlighting the best remixes and collaborations, from Madonna, Deep Dish and Sasha to Paul Van Dyk, Tori Amos and Richard ‘Psychedelic Furs" Butler as well as the most important tracks from his three artist albums.

with special guest...

Bill Hamel - (Sunkissed/Teknology)

Bill Hamel is the founder of Sunkissed Records, America's leading underground progressive house label. In just the past year, Bill has worked with some of the industry's biggest names and has recently secured funding and distribution from a major for his label. He has worked with Evolution, Mara, Blackwatch, Sam Mollison, Blue Amazon, and Simon Noble of Breeder fame. His releases receive rave reviews, and are regularly charted and are supported DJs such as Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, and Paul Van Dyk.

Recent and notable achievements in Hamel's production include signings to Bedrock, for his collaboration with Michael Thomas (Blackwatch), "Discotek", twice with Perfecto for a remix of "Superstar", featuring Jan Johnson and the track, "Disco Volante" with Rich Rosario, and with Ministry of Sound America for the track, "Phazon Phrequencies" which are set to be released later this year. Bill Hamel has had every single one of his remixes to date be featured on a major mix compilation including: Mara "One" on Nick Warren Budapest Global Underground, Inertia "Vellum" on Dave Seaman's Cape Town Global Underground, Evolution "The Phoenix" on Danny Tenaglia's London Global Underground, Ritmo "G 13" on Dave Seaman Renaissance Awakening CD. Bill Hamel has also had tracks licensed to over 30 different mix CD's including compilations from Ministry of Sound, Bedrock, Global Underground and many others.

Last year, Bill received the distinction of being named one of URB magazine's "Next 100" and is favored to make significant contributions in the fields of Production and DJing in the years to come. Bill has built up a strong reputation throughout central Florida due to his DJing skills and now regularly DJ's all over the U.S. in prestigious clubs such as 'Nikita/Spundae, S.F., System Soundbar, Toronto, and Limelight, N.Y.C. Additionally, Bill Hamel has maintained return gigs throughout Mexico, Canada, and in the U.K. He is known for his key mixing and for playing upfront, top quality, driving progressive house. With so many past achievements, and even more future releases to come, Bill Hamel is guaranteed an incredible year of success.

Dig-Dug - (USC Events)

Making his official debut at a large-scale event on April 20th, 1996 in Portland, OR, Douglas McIntyre (aka Dig-Dug) made an extraordinary first impression. 1997 would be the year that Doug came across his first speed garage record. Gaining inspiration from DJ Czech (Vancouver, BC), who educated him on the genre, Doug was soon led to the unique and clever combination of speed garage and bassline-heavy breaks that became his signature sound.

Having spent time all across the country, including San Francisco and Miami, Doug's back in Seattle. As an employee and resident DJ for USC, he's sponsored by three Los Angeles based clothing lines (Psyche 909, ODO, Octo), has received his Sound Engineering degree from a highly regarded multimedia institution, and his weekends are filled with bookings up and down the West Coast. His latest track, “Crowd Control” featuring lyrics by DJ Swamp (currently available on the USC6 compilation CD) is further proof that his extensive technical training and creative ideas set him apart from the rest. The future looks incredibly bright for this DJ/Producer/Sound Engineer.
