That was at a Riverside party and I swear if I had tomatoes I would have thrown em at Rick West! It was that party that czech had the second room rocking jam packed while Fixx was in the main room getting served looking like an amature. I think it was at that point when I began to realize how un-funky Florida breaks were... Anyone there?

I would have to agree Ryan... Czech was playing a down tempo set at the time wasn't he? All I remember is that Fixx and West really weren't playing what I was expecting. When we had brought Fixx out before to the club on a Friday, he played better.

yeah. czech busted it out for 4 hours at that party. That shyte was str8 up sick. It was a hip hop style of breaks. Not fast enough to be called breaks but way to fast to be called hip hop. I gave up trying to foind ANY of thsoe records/tracks that he played. Cuz I str8 up got nowhere tryin ot find em

Is he really Kraig? I remember being told he was bringin out Stanton Warriors for JAn/Feb and havent heard a word since Freestylers. Shouldnt take all that long to iron out details now should it?
Plus I remember hearing all the way back almost 3 years ago that he was bringing Plump Djs in.. They should have been here long time ago.... Someone, anyone! Bring em!~ |

Kid Kenobi from Sydney. This guy is one of the biggest breaks djs in the world right now. He's mixed the last two ministry of sound guides to breaks, and has toured the UK and new york recently. I've seen him 4 times live and hes kicked ass everytime.
Maybe scissorkicks from england? |

I thought Lee Coombs absolutely friggin' ROCKED it when he came down to play Sonar a while back. He'd have the place bumpin' if you brought him. Give Coombs a chance!! The Plumps would be perfect for Van as well. I'm really feeling their remix of Velcro Fastener's "Electric Appliances".
