As Kraig mentioned, the show is going to happen. I have been in the process of getting in touch with everyone and seeing who wants to do a stage. If you are a promoter and would like to do a stage, please contact me by no later than June 5th, as we are going to be having a production meeting around that date. Hello Promoters,
After getting a few responses, I have decided to move the meeting up to this week! So it is now confirmed, the meeting will be this Friday (May 30th, 2003) at 8:00pm. IT IS MANDATORY THAT YOU ARE THERE IF YOU WANT TO DO A STAGE. The only exceptions to this, are those that are out of town, or a death in the family. If we do not have enough people at this meeting, THE SHOW WILL BE CANCELLED. Once again, the minimum amount of stages for this event is ten. So if we do not have enough promoters there, I am going to cancel the show. If you can't make this meeting, but really do want to do a stage, I expect that you call me and make arrangements for your deposit. I need you to RSVP no later than Thursday as I am going to be booking a banquet room in a restaurant in Vancouver for this meeting. You can reach me on my cell at **************. I have some more general questions to answer for some, as there are a lot of new promoters wanting to do stages, so I am going to get as much done as I can. Deposits: This year we are going to change up the format a bit. For any promoter who has done a stage in the past, you are required to pay $1000.00. Included in this, is 100 tickets, and a spot for your stage. For anyone new to the show, or doing a stage for the first time, you are required to pay $1500.00. This includes 150 tickets and a spot for your stage. You will also, all of course get our flyers......which is up to you to hand out, but of course, if you don't hand them out, you don't sell tickets, and you don't get your deposit back and/or make any money on the show. So with that said, please flyer. If you are wondering why there is a difference, it is for the promoters who have taken this risk in years past. Unfortunately, there is no exceptions on this for people coming from out of town. Year after year, we do have people come from far and wide and do a stage, there has never been an exception in the past, unfortunately that is not changing this year. Salim will still be handling the money management as he is the only one who can be held accountable. As with every other year, you are required to make all your own arrangements for your stage. I will try and answer any question you may have. One Last Thing..... JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE TALKED TO SALIM, DOES NOT MEAN I KNOW YOU ARE PART OF THE SHOW. SALIM IS JUST TOO BUSY, AND AS SUCH I AM DOING THE COORDINATION. IF I DO NOT HEAR FROM YOU PERSONALLY, I CAN ONLY ASSUME, THAT YOU ARE NOT PART OF THE SHOW. PLEASE GET IN CONTACT WITH ME IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO. Oh, one more thing..... The Deadline for deposits is June 9, 2003. Please contact me by phone regarding the deposits. I can be reached at **************. On a personal note, I took the over the show, because Salim had given up on everyone. I don't want to see this show die. With every other show that is a yearly event, once it skips a year, it never comes back. If we don't do this show this year, that is the end of APEX PROJECT. Kay I am done now.
