the electric boogaloos
ok here we go first of all for all of you that are coming out for breathe at plaza nations to see mr.wiggles live......if this party turns out well and wiggles rips up an awesome show as we all know he will...would you guys like to see him again and the whole eletric boogaloos perform live at summerlove this summer....?????welll put your replies up and lets see the out come of it and the replies so azim and craig from twisted and saleem from swing kids will most likely be seeing this post and gives them an general idea on wat everyone wants to see for entertainment this year at summerlove.....if you are not sure who mr wiggles is or the electric boogaloos you can go check them out at www.electricboogaloos.com and yes i am in contact with them and they would love to come up here to perform live....well lets see the out come of this post..i bet after breathe alot of peeps will be posting on this one ....peace bboy icey...7knights crew...
ps.....you never know maybe they will book them for summerlove if we get enough requests to book them for summerlove replies.....as of right now they are not even thinking about booking them and i am not going to ask them too......i think it all depends on this post to catch there attention.......and hey if it doesnt it was worth the shot and try to get them to book them from this post....and atleast they did book wiggles for breathe wich was also a huge demand from alot of the people in the vacouver rave and hip hop scene to see him live...so if they dont book electric boogaloos for summerlove we still owe them a huge thank you and much respect for the one and only mr.wiggles that hasnt been to vancouver in over 13 years to show his skills in the bboy battle circle... hells yeah!!! Im a huge fan of the EB's....these guys created popping, locking and boogaloo.... seeing them get down live would be freaken sweet!!
I was actually thinking about driving down to seattle for their show... but if they come to van i'm there for sure!!

Having them perform at summerlove would be great, but i'd much rather have them come down here and teach some classes! We'd learn more plus we'd still be able to get down with them.
Maybe we can do some sorta combo. They perform at Slove and teach a class maybe the day before or something like that. I've hesitated so far because I'm not sure if we can get enough people to show up for class. But if people are willing to help, I'll volunteer to organize it. I've talked to pete and ceech about it and they're so down for teaching up here for the first time. Phunky you already know this but for those that don't, vancouver's got its own funk styles forum at www.nustudios.com. Its a great way to get our little community united and an even better place to post questions if you're new. The site is made up of quite a few knowledgable dancers, and the site is run by ceech, a close friend and direct student of the electric boogaloos. Go to the forums there, and click 604. If you like bboyin or funk styles make sure you register :) peace

hiro lets do it up....i will help pitch in money to set it up if the do end up booking them......i will also give out fr tshirts from are clothing line.......well lets keep these replies coming in hopefully and lets see wats going to come out of this maybe.....see this is how and the way vancouver peeps shopuld comunicate with the promoters in giving ideas and getting replies from the rest of the scene on wat they would like to see and who they would like to see dj at future parties also makes it easier for the promoters to book events and keep there crwod sattisfied...i know that all the twisted crew ,swing kids,shy brotheres and agro culture all are very supportive with wanting to hear from everyone and there ideas for up coming events..it also makes the scene very tight....well everyone take care and see you at breathe..peace

definately... everyone loves to see professional dancing of any kind when at a party... theres alot of asspiring pop&lockers around this city and them as well as many other people wouldn't give up the chance to see some professionals lay down some moves that u just have to see live...

Yo,
I would love to see the Electric boogaloo's come to vancouver to perform at summerlove. I know it would be HIro'z dream if they came to perform here :hehe: , anyway's the only problems i see are working around The EB's schedual, and if there are enough people that would be interested in seeing them. Just to let you guys kno if u didnt already, the EB's are the most amazing dance crew in the world today, they've been dancing before you ppl were born. if they came to teach classes exc that would be awesome too, but then we would probably need confirmation of ppl that would be willing to take classes ... Anyway yeah if you would like to see them perform here, plz just leave a message on this topic and hopefully we can get enough ppl for them to come and perform. AND if you are a pop'er/lock'er or funk stylist ... and you would like to come out and practice, Jaimeson and I usually practice on weekends so if you would like to come out and practice with us your always welcome.
