So even though he's played The 604 Hiphop Expo, Slam City Jam, The Slam City afterparty, Overweight, International Gold, Overweight, Formula, Automatic, The World Ski and Snow Fest among many other BC spots, you've never heard of this Brit whom Neptunes Super-producer Pharrell Williams revealed he was a huge fan of live to millions of listeners on Tim Westwood's show (BBC Radio)? You soon will.
No one musical genre is large enough to contain Kela's multi-vocal prowess. He is a member of the legendary Rock Steady Crew whose talents stretch far beyond the realm of just Hiphop as he also incorporates R&B, Drum & Bass, Electronica, Pop, and more into his recordings and performances. He has collaborated in studio with among others, DJ Vadim, Stereo MC's, Morcheeba, Neneh Cherry, Artful Dodger (Craig David's producer), J-Live, Finley Quaye, Zinc, Lemon D, and Super Furry Animals, plus he has collaborated live on stage with N*E*R*D, Dwele, Nicky Blackmarket, Skibadee, Shy FX, Dillinja, and Andy C.
