I saw and met paul van dyk at commodore, he ripped a wicked set and I think two hours of pvd at freaknight, will be way better than spooky. And by the way when I said who the fuck in dj lange, I meant who is he to be the showcase headliner at such a presdigious event, not that I have never heard of his work . Yes well so did I. I had the only interview granted in Vancouver and I must say it was the biggest waste of time. PVD is a great producer and DJ but is too much on his own cock to answer a few simple questions. If you want to go to Seattle then go. You are but one my child, and USC does do a fabulous job of trhowing parties, but shows in Seattle are very different from Vancouver...no one dances. Period. The venues are so huge that no vibe is created. People don't chat with you. I think that Spooky will be great because there are wicked headliners in ALL the rooms....for that I give major props to Kraig, Avana and co. I am thrilled that I get to play on the mainstage with some wicked locals as well as Lange...yes Lange. as well as Rank One, and the Thrillseekers. I can't wait to see Soda rip it up before Melting man....and Olav :D:D A DJ I have waited to see for almost five years. Just making observations on what locals were booked, I noticed a very fair cross-section of this city's talent....local DJs are very well represented here and they are not delegated to crappy 4th stages like other events this year. The new venue is a welcome change...yes it is far but isn't Halowe'en about adventure and new discoveries???? (Like Kraig's alter-ego Vanilla Ice???) I am psyched. Tix are available at Boomtown. I will be giving free records away during my set from Blacktiger recordings a label I have just been signed with. As for costume it will be a surprise.....looking forward to seeing everyone there. Kraig wanna do the pre-party at Shape???? PM me Peace |
