i was thinking of showing up...but none of my friends wanna... soo iono now..umm.... oh well....u guys shouldn't critisize [sp?] them.... i mean we all have a starting place...look at me for instance.... i'm still young and what if i were to throw a bday bash...would u guys show up??...oh well...on the other hand...i don't really feel any pity for them...sorry... |

maybe so the djs arent like, "fuck man, we got screwed over by a buncha 16 year olds!" i dont see anything wrong with that. some ppl do that, its like they get someone to be the confronter.. in every group of friends there's a confronter. the one that has to be the blunt, be the outspoken one.. the one that the group nominates to do the talking. and winnie just happened to be that person in this situation, so drop it. i never expected much for this party and i still dont. so whatever. *awaits the bad karma* THANKS.

by the lack of responsibility for thier own actions, you'd think the production company was run by a bunch of giggly teenagers. wait a sec... r. (toldyaso) |

Like I said before SMH, business is business. If you want people to take you seriously, do it PROFESSIONALLY! That was my point. I don't get other people in my company to do my dirty work if I fuck up... especially if they're not part of the company. That's just copping out on responsibilities and obiligations that the company holds. So does that mean that you're implying that all these girls at CrunkItProductions are too chicken shit to handle their own, so they got an "outsider" to do their job? I hope not, cuz I'm sure that they wouldn't appreciate that. :( Just take a long look from a business aspect Leslie... I'm sure you don't care too much about it, but you somehow took offense to my post earlier, so I want you're opinion on this one. PS... Heehee :Kimmie: I don't think I've ever debated anything with ya' |
|

no kimmie, heres what i think, how i see it.
3 16 year old girls are sitting in the cafeteria, listening to their new "rave" cds and discussing their "raving" experiences and one girl goes, "HEY -- I GOT AN IDEA! lets throw our own RAVE party!", girls eyes light up with excitement, "LIKE TOTALLY!" i dont really think these girls can comprehend what they are getting into, they paniced and got winnie to do the deed for them, is it really winnie's fault? not really.. and looking at things from a business pov: i never thought 16 year olds were that responisible in the first place, i mean this is like mary kate and ashley throwing a "rave". |
|
||||
Bahahahaha --> Mary Kate and Ashley... That's hilarious!!! :330:
But I still feel strongly about my argument on NOT getting outsiders to do their deeds for them. If they argued before (above posts) about how they are "good" enough for the job and this party, well, getting Winnie to do their job for them wasn't the best thing, was it? And having Winnie leave that post makes them look even more incompetent. Plus, I think it was Winnie's fault for agreeing to do someone else's dirty work... regardless if she's *friends* with the DJs or not. That's not her job. That's not her company, right? If you own your own company... learn from your *own* mistakes. Don't learn from how others' fixed it for you. That's lame. :219: I would really love to hear CrunkIt's response to this... |
|
||||
its midnight.. they're probably asleep by now kimmie.
i think it was more of a friend thing to do than it was as a business partner.. no kimmie, not everyone is like you, not everything will hold their own responsibility, you couldnt of expected much from them. i mean you said: "learn from your *own* mistakes. Don't learn from how others' fixed it for you." back to my maturity and responibility stereotype arguement. when you're young, who do you expect to pull the shit out of your ass when you get in trouble? your friends, parents and maybe yourself. first time throwing a party and all, being young, they had to of paniced and not thought about it.. tsk tsk. tardy tardy. |
|
||||
True, true... I follow you, but be honest, are you defending someone cuz you're friends with them as well? Just curious... :047:
I'm speaking from an outside POV. I don't know any of them... I'm an impartial outlook on this whole subject, right? And I'm talking thru my personal & business experiences over the past five years. And trust me, it's hard to get men to take women seriously in such a male-dominated industry. This is what I was talking about earlier in this thread about how the "older" companies frown on "newer" companies. I think because the newer companies do it primarily for $$$ and because it's fun. Why not, right? They don't understand the business tactics for it. They just wing it... Last edited by kiMMie; Oct 03, 01 at 04:42 PM. |

ahhh alas.. the thread that just WONT die..
im not defending anyone, im simply saying that they asked her for help and thats their own choice, its not the kinda thing that i would do if i was in trouble and needed to confront someone. i mean it could be anyone that "helped" the crunkit girls out and it wouldnt matter. does it matter now kimmie? DOES IT REALLY MATTER?? i dont even know what we're arguing here this is so stupid. it doesnt even seem like much of a debate if we are agreeing on most of the issues here. GOD. the thread that just wont dieee.. IEEE... AND THE CRUNKITGIRLS STILL HAVENT ANSWERED MY QUESTION AS TO WHERE THEY GET THE MONEY FROM. |

what were we debating about? the actions of the crunkit "KrU". i pretty much said that it was irresponsible act, as did you so i dont see that as much of an arguement. just senseless post upgrading and agreeing. .end -- GOD WHEN WILL IT END??? |
|

Hahahaha... Oops, my bad. I thought you meant that it wouldn't *die* cuz we kept on talking about it.
"Dilly fun like pudding" <--- LOL Where do you get this stuff? :160: I guess we really weren't debating, but discussing more or less. We did, however, debate over the whole Winnie issue... just a little, but whatever. No offense... since you guys are friends, right? Any-hoo :Kimmie: |

wow CRUNKIT girls. you always seem to avoid my questions...
WHERE DID YOU GET THE MONEY TO THROW YOUR "RAVE"? an answer would be nice instead of wussing off xtcity and only showing your faces here when someone is defending you avoiding conflict. come on, enlighten us as to how three 16 year olds get money to throw a "rave". parents? part time job? what? |
