FREE FOR YOU: from time to time, we'll be giving back to our loyal supporters. last september, some of you were invited to out FREE party with MASEO from DE LA SOUL, HEDSPIN + CHI TURNER. we've decided to brand these ongoing events with the name SPREAD LOVE, blatently bitten from our boy DJ YODA's FREE events in London, UK you are invited to our next event: TONIGHT, November 24th, 2003 at Sonar (66 Water St.) spectrum, dipt and straight goods present SPREAD LOVE: the ROYCE video wrap party with performances by: ROYCE THE 5'9" This Detroit native became known worldwide when he recorded the track "Bad Meets Evil" with Eminem which was featured on Em's Multi-Platinum Major Label debut album, the "Slim Shady LP". Royce and Eminem had even formed their own rap group called "Bad Meets Evil". The Source Magazine named their single Indie Record of the Year. From working on tracks with Em, Producer Dr. Dre had liked what he had heard and asked Royce to write for the"Chronic 2001" album. Royce ended up writing lyrics for the track "The Message." It soon became clear that Royce had the ability to become a star in the rap game. His upcoming album "Rock City Version 2.0" will feature guests DJ Premier, The Neptunes, Eminem, Amerie, Trackmasters & more.
