Hey what up Vancouver I ve just moved back from edmonton and im looking to play ive been spinning for about four and a half years and I the tunes i play are to put it simply pumping ,uplifting and emotion evoking.think scot project \paul glazby\nuclear ramjet.I held a residency at an afterhours in edmonton called Breakfast at Tiffanys for a year and a half.I mainly stick to hard trance but i also play acid techno psychedelic trance hardhouse and nunrg .I have a radio show you can listen to on 101.7 fm on friday nights from 100 -300 am you can also check it out at www.chly.fm for online internet broadcast.I dont know who I would talk to about this i honestly dont know where to start but I will play for free and I can find my own transportation to and from the party.i have 3 demos one is hard german style trance the other is a full on psy trance mix and the other hardhouse\nunrg\hard trance.i think i actually have an acid tech kickin around here somewhere as well.anyways my email is janana@inorbit.com i wouldnt mind some advice on this subject

if you are looking to play trance in town you need to give a demo to either mike or ben shur or jimmie from solid corporation, azim, or one of the twisted folks for the big raves. Danny taylor also runs club viva in richmond, and hires locals as opening acts.

come by trance theory this weekend with a demo and if its good im sure escape will have you playing at it's next small party.

You came in with the right attitude my friend. Its sad but playing out is mostly all to do with marketing yourself. Keeping in mind what you wrote I think it would be wise to show up at some of the trance parties coming up. Trance theory, Twisted, and I think you may find some trance at the other parties coming up as well.
With so many djs and not many promoters in this city promoters like to see you at their shows b4 you play, showing your support.
I'm not big on trance but by the looks of it most vancouver ravers do so get out there and get the job done.

What was your DJ name in edmonton? I dont recall a "mutant" but i dont recall much from those days, so who knows.
