Playing a sumptuous and musical blend of funk filled, percussive grooves and sexy Latin jazz, Johnny takes his place in the history books of house music alongside contemporaries Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Diz and Gene Farris. Helping put legendary Chicago clubs on the world’s musical map, Johhny now logs countless frequent flier miles spinning at club and parties from Japan to Spain. Playing as part of Om and Doubledown records at this year’s Winter Music Conference, Fiasco is both one of the world’s most prolific producers and remixers with nearly 100 projects bearing his name! I have been talking to Johnny all week and he's genuinely really excited to be making the trip back to BC for the first time in a long time. It's going to be a swank night and we are promising some cool surprises and extras at what will already be an extra special evening. If you like any of Miguel Migs, Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Naked Records, Om, Doubledown Records this is one of the guys who has made the groovy house sound what it is today. His new Jamayka Ep is sick, even being charted by DJ Dan surprisingly enough for the flip with the funky guitar and percussive riddums.
