On May 7th DA productions proudly presents

History of Breaks: Lesson 202

After last years "sold out before midnight" show, we had to come back and educate once again. This show will feature: party rockin' djs, a terrific sound and light set-up from Juice, a cozy venue not used in years, old skool breaks, nu skool breaks, funky house, classic rock, live hip hop, 80's & 70's sets, drum n bass, and of course the fantastically friendly DA crowd.
If you dont know, now you'll know.

From the World famous Beat Junkies!!!



Melo-D began his DJ career in 1990, as a member of the DJ group Modern Muzique, based out of Cerritos, CA. In 1992, he officially joined the Beat Junkie crew and immediately began conquering a host of achievements. Linked to his name are the prestigious battle titles of Vestax USA Champion (1995), Vestax World Champion (1995), and the honor of Vestax Team World Champions (1996. In addition, Melo-D, along with several of the highly talented musicians of the Beat Junkie crew, captured the distinguished International Turntablist Federation (ITF) World Champion titles in 1997 and 1998. The Beat Junkies are the first and only turntable band to capture and defend this celebrated title two consecutive years.

We at DA Productions are :284: over the chance for a DJ of this calibre to perform at this event. If you like turntablism, and old skool party rockin, ass shakin old skool breaks, then this is defnitely for you.

1985-1999:
Mista Koncept ~ DarksonTribe (Edmonton)

A dj and mc that will surley make ya shake it like a polaroid.

2000-2004
Precise & Ryan Ross
Two of the best breaks DJs in the city, Ryan & Ryan will be playing the favorites from the last 4 years in the breaks world.
Expect a whole lot of turntablism and funky breaks.

Two-step & Uk Garage.
