Second i bet you haven't even heard the DJ's that your badmouthing(and i know you are). "Imitators of the AGRO vibe" No one is trying to steal your vibe. "No bullshit hype" ???????? Can't take the heat get out of the kitchen Thats what the AGROvibe is all about! Not only do we throw down proper, we throw down different! What's different bout our parties if you've seen all these dj's a 100 times before? It's the crowd of people we attract, it's the thick vibe that has proven to be second to none. Over the years dj upon dj have told me they love spinning AGRO parties cause they're like great big ol house parties. The crowd is so into it, and when the crowd is into it the dj's play to their greatest ability cause they're hyped themselves! Most peeps who have been to our parties know what I'm talking about. Strictly underground. Often imitated, Never duplicated The proof is in the poll above. People have fun at our parties and we have very little unhappy people! Why? cause we're REAL For the Groove parties we'll be using original venues, not one that is used every weekend. I do gotta give ya props when props are due though Giving dj's a chance to spin out that rarely spin out is a good thing to do! and in fact the next few parties we will also be opening a few slots for that also Last edited by AGROculture; May 14, 04 at 08:18 AM.

I've no beef with Agro, and yes, you guys throw great parties. I've hit up quite a few in the last two years or so, so I mean no disrespect, but just because some djs never play out doesn't mean they have any less skill than the talent you book. Take my buddy, Charlie 2NA, for example. He's a great dj from my perspective and I'm so glad we have the opportunity to book him for our upcoming event. He may still have a lot to learn, but unless he's given the chance, how else can he hope to improve? Whatever happened to booking someone based on attitude and personality in addition to talent? I'm sure you guys do; its just that i can see why someone might take that calloused statement about bedroom djs to heart. There's lots of people with skills who just havn't been picked up by a promo company yet. Proof of that talent is on this board. We've got a few djs on our show's roster, myself included, who are fairly green in terms of experience, but that shouldn't be held against us. The reason I first started going to Agro parties was because you usually booked talent of various styles that I hadn't seen or heard of before, I hope you guys continue to do so cuz that's what keeps this scene interesting. Once again, no disrespect intended, just have a little humility, there're plenty of good production companies in Vancouver, yourselves included. See you at G:V.I
