Im Funk'N Sorry -funk me make up party
I would like say thank you to everyone who supported funk me and swift beats, funk me was on track for being a great party . unfortaunatly it was shut down becuase we did not have enough fire exits when the po inspected the place . once again I would like to say " fuck the police" . But we have a plan to make it up to all the poeple who got stuck downtown , paid for a ticket and didnt even get to go ,or other shity things that should not have happend. We are planing a great make up party so you can really see was swift beats can do.
- There will be the djs that didnt get to spin plus a special suprise dj. - 5 dollar limited tickets to people who bought tickets or paid at the door - Full free concession including unlimited water,pop,and food - And what ever eles we can think of to make up for what happend anybody who bought a ticket or paid at the door please call me and I will hook you up with a $5 dollar ticket there are limmited tickets and we are doing our best to make sure that every one who bought tickets orpaid at then door get these tickets. If there is any room for door sales it will be $10 @ the door. It is garuated that I will loose money off this event but I dont care becuase I just want people to know that we care about what happend and we are doing our best to make it up for it incase anybody is wondering we lost a good amount of money off funk me that is why we are not refunding people. when you're planning a party, always anticipate the worst. Expect to be visited by the PO, and when they come you won't be surprised.
Think ahead with the venue so you don't get stuck. Props to trying to help out all those who went though!

I think it's great that you're having a make up party but if we all worked togethor as best we can with the Police instad of having a Fuck the Police attitude more parties might go on more often
I've had to deal with Asshole cops before who shut down my shows, but I've also had cops come to my parties and walked around and they left soon after! I remember when parties got busted around that time and sometimes they woudln't be downtown Vancouver but in butt fuck nowhere.. Chilliwack... Raverside. Just seems like kids these days are spoilt and it's a main factor in the declining scene as it feels (to me anyways) that a lot of people like to complain about things not being good enough and that they deserve better but they don't show the support and want things for free or want make up parties for events that go for most of the night. It costs a LOT to put these events on and I have respect for anyone who tries to do it because despite what a lot of kiddies think it is hard work and parties don't just happen. Props again Jeremy... I hope your event is off the hook.
