If I throw it... Who will help? Sept.6.2004 or the nearest weekend...
I am planning to ATTEMPT a massive none profit event, looking for help with
location (hopefully 2 day event) Looking for DJ's with their own equipment to volunteer, who ever wants to spin is probably welcome, we'll see what people vote for. I am planning to bring together different groups of people from all over Lower mainland, the kinds of groups that have never gotten together before and NEVER would under any other circumstances, Will get together my FOB russian posse, 60-100 people A few of my persian friends who will probably gather up A SHIT LOAD of people May be East Indion Posse will show up... if they are down with not listening to for one night Hip-Hop. And ofcourse you the FNKers, probably the majority of the event will be composed of you. You people are ALWAYS down with something like this. That is exactly why I turn to you for help. Anybody who has successfully thrown something like this before please post here your suggestions, advice, and how you can help... if you can bring equipment OR ANYTHING! We need to organize this event as a group... not just like other parties... where a few people organize event everyone else comes and parties then leaves.... if we all make it happen we'll have that much more fun... I believe. so help in anyway you can... and vote for what you want to hear. Please no retarted useless posts cuz if you wanna post something retarted or useless click here |

This is how Apex was born...........I think this would be great. Find an outdoor location. Have different stages, get crews to provide their own gear...and bob's your uncle.

How come most of the ravers in the lower mainland are either from burnaby... (mainly burnaby) and chilli-whack... anyways
i am thinking away from vancouver... somewhere not too far off the hwy that leads to okanagan valley... somewhere in the nature... so the cops would never even dream of driving by.... and make it a darker party... with not too much light... so its not that noticable.... fuck it... lets make it noticable... we might have to charge a lame ass admission fee of around 5$ per person... free for the girls ofcourse. and if you're under 16 you pay $10... lol cuz i hate when its like a kindergarden... yeah i got some people that are doing a dj search.... i might have some djs showing up from seattle... i have alot of people private messaging me willing to help out... and its great... i think we can actually make it work who ever can help me with the following let me know... who knows a good location who knows a large parking lot near the location who has a van or can get one to drive people from parking to location who has equipment who knows djs that are willing to play with their equipment... who can get dealers to for example wear yellow tukes... or something so everyone knows where to get their "fuel". we might even be selling liquor there... so who ever wants to make some money should stock up with liquor, and sell it at double or something like that at the rave...10% of the profit to us. and if there are any good promoters, and organizers that would be awesome if they could help... i am a total rookie... but i am dedicated to giving alot of people a great time... Always wanted to throw a party that will be talked about... and possibly depends on its success, repeated... and we want to keep it free or as cheap as possible... its a none profit party... just to cover the expenses... who ever wants to say that this isn't going to work... go post somewhere else... this kind of an attitude will make it all the harder for us... and everyone post what date you want it to be.. we'll vote... the majority rules ofcourse. |
