Solid Corporation Announcement:

The city revoked the extra hour of partying and told us that we could only operate 10 hours. Hence the timeslots will be changed up a little bit by end of tonight.

We strongly encourage people to come early as this show is SOLD OUT of presales. There will be a VERY limited amount of door sales. Whoever has an advance ticket will get in. We can reassure you that we did not oversell. Its really up to the fire marshall & police to decide when to shutdown the door or not. It could be 4000+ ppl or 6000+ ppl. Our legal capacity is 4700. But it is not our decision. You could ask any promoter about this situation. The topic is very subjective and let us reassure you that ticketmaster would not let us over sell our legal capacity.

The weather forecast predicts it to be cloudy with a few showers on Saturday. (http://vancouver.weatherpage.ca/) We have rented a tent to cover as many as people as we could. However, we still highly encourage you to dress appropriately to the weather.

Lastly, there is absolutely no tolerance for any illicit substance, weapons and anything that would harm others/yourself. People who are caught will be ejected immediately from the event without second chances. Solid Corporation hopes to maintain a fun and safe environment for everyone at Dooms Night. We encourage everyone to party responsibly. Take care of each other and lets make it a memorable one.

Would you please be more specific about the ticket sales? How many have been sold? And what time does it all start? What about security at the pne?

We've sold around the ballpark of 3800-4100 tickets and the doors open at 10pm. Advance ticket holders will get in.

He means.. if you have tickets bought from private sellers or stores, you will get in. In other words they haven't over sold in presale tickets. The security at PNE isn't that bad, but you shouldn't be bringing anything in anyways.

here lets put it this way...
pne can fit 10 000 for a concert... LEGAL capacity is 4700 for free moving spectators...(as for any big venue)
now the thing is venue bylaws ALLOW cuts and or expansion of the 4700 #....so if its a good day....be prepared for 5000+

the time changes at 3 am one hour back, so at 3 am (old time) it will be 2 am.

i'd say timeslots are staying by old time!

Hm, how stringent are they? I'm just wondering about various things I like to bring. I'll probably be bringing my briar pipe and pipe tobacco, perhaps a sealed container of orange juice... Would these be discriminated against?

I doubt you will be getting any of that through. No outside food or drinks. There goes the orange juice. A "tobacco" pipe, hrmmmm, they automatically think, used for pot, so I doubt that as well.

Try, but dont be surprised if you dont get through.

pne is completely outdoors... in a dirt pit.. were rain boots and rain gear .. it will get wet....... an umbrella always helps to..... imf was such a mess... mud and water everywhere... dress warm.... thats my advice to you
