Was going to stay out of this.... but I fully have to agree with Auto.
If you want to do a show and want to bring an artist, then do it. Don't post about how your thinking about doing Aquasky, but you don't have them booked, and you don't have a venue.

things don't work out, that's cool, but there seems to be a plague recently of prmoters coming on and saying that they're doing this or that and not following through with it..

it's ok to build some hype, but if you keep saying things like this and not following through then eventually boy-cries-wolf-syndrome kicks in and no one believes you anymore and even if you do throw something no one goes.

the best thing that could happen is that they read my post and write out a well written response letting us know why nothing happened, and they get their cred back...i'm actually trying to help them out here, seen?

^^^ obviously what happened was he did some research and found that there was a lack of interest in the show because they had been here so many times recently! he wanted to put his efforts into a more appreciated show. i hardly think there needs to be an explanation!

he'd been away for awhile and simply posted to see if there was interest.....end of story! so why would he book them and confirm a location if he was unsure of the event in the first place???

i understand it would be irritating if every promoter posted parties they wanted to do.............but he's just getting into it and wanted a sure fire way to start off right.......ie.bringing the people something they wanted to see.

it's pretty simple really.

sorry for all the inconvinience i cause in your busy day of fnk i didnt know if this party would go off because of the amount of times theyve been here recently. and next time i want to know if people want to see the people im bringing out ill find somewhere else to post it in the site and i didnt want to go up against benny banassi and thats when they wanted to come down. so just so all yall know that im not tryin to blow smoke in the system. and the black crack shows thats droppin early summer will make evryone forget about this whole mishap.
