They didn't luck out...we Russians have heart and loyalty to the motherland. And when the Germans invaded and raped our land...it was go time! In World War 2, The Battle For Stalingrad is all the proof you need...it was personal, and the germans paid dearly, as well did the Russians. Sad, sad time. Actually Stalingrad was never going to be a city again after the war, it was going to be a museum. However life today there is never better, and it's now called Volgograd.

you guys did luck out. you had a big army, but shitty arms and artillery. if i do recall right, the russians had the most casualties in the WWII. if it wasn't for you joining the allies, and the US lend-lease program you guys would have lost. all the motherland love from a bunch of underfed proletariats with makeshift guns wouldn't save yoruself from german panzers.

yea life in russia must be a blast. the last time i was there i was swarmed by begging kids. how are the chechen's and russians doing? still kidnapping, torturing, raping and executing each others people?

Your right we had more troops, but more casualities....however the shitty arms were being produced in mass numbers, and far beyond the front line....Hilter had his factories close to the front lines and were easy targets for bombing...this really hurt the Nazi's!

As for the motherland I it has a dark history, but there is some bright parts.
