Kaos and I played there one year (99 I believe)
Ok, so it's an 8hr drive.
4 hours to Osoyoos , another 4 to Nelson. Who cares? The drive is awesome and there's lots of little places to stop along the way. We must have dove into 3 lakes on the way. I had an awesome time hanging out with the Pound crew for 3 days. The stages are one of a kind. Kaos and I played right after Dekoze on the beach. Our stage was a man-made pirate ship made out of wood. We played in the morning while watching nude hippies run around. Most of them were females who hated using any products made by Gillete (Hairy pits and jungle muffs). If you're thinking about going, do it. It's a trip you won't forget. :) |

well, it's aug 16-19 this year. it is located in salmo bc, about a half hour-40 min drive from nelson so i guess that's about 8-9 hours from vancouver. it's so worth the drive! on a huge piece of private property with a river, ticket prices include camping, free water (what a novel idea), there are lots of cool stages in the woods, the people are super cool, LAIDBACK security, wicked vibe. and, there are hippies and beer (no dogs though). early tix are available now at www.fractalme.com for $60. |
