Geneses(sp) Security
Promoters.. These guys lick ass i know they are probably those most lenient out there but is there no other security teams in Van.
People talk about the music at wett : they say it sucked Some people say there were too many "Barstars" Some say They did shitty drugs. And most complained about the vibe. Well Im sure that the people had something to do with the vibe but my explanation of the lack of good vibes was genesis. Any one agree?

i'm pretty sure genesis security are the people who do all security at plaza? they most likely have a contract or something so the promoters can't just go and get new security.. [although i could be wrong? i 'm just guessing here]
and hey.. if you have such a big problem with the gensis security guys then don't go to plaza.. if they ruin you're vibe..they're gonna be there so why waste you're money on that party then?

Well this problem jus popped up during the last couple parties i went to.....
I go b/c its a great place to do drugs talk and dance. Duh. Im not gonna let a security team stop me from attending parties thats y i made this post to get maybe an answer.

Those bastards kicked me out of my first all night dance party, twisted 2000. i was smoking in the theater room, and got jacked. damn, i guess it was a little dumb to do that, on the plus side though, it was about 6 am already

Iono - the security is ok. They've always been nice to me. Especially the Curly haired woman . Haha I remember at Imix last year I brought a bouquet of flowers to hand out to ppl and I gave her one. She was happy! hehe - yea yea Suck up, I know. But hey whatever work right? =)
The usual convo with a security guard: GUARD: " Are there any weapons etc in your bag?" ME: " Actually, yes. Y'now the usual, guns, bombs, drugs, weed, knives" *then a cutesy girly smile and laugh* Then it's all good. That's to the guys tho. Some of the woman are a bit weird. Like go thru EVERYTHING in my bag. Right to the last lipstick container. Sigh ... Oh wells. Best Memory of security check: K.A.O.S - Some guy had a pack full of pills in his hoodie pockets - lie tons!! They were huge and Colouful - Said they were acne meds. Like why the fuck would you bring that many meds to a mini?!

they are just doing they're job. just think about it. if u had a contract with plaza u would want to be the best at security since it is a good venue and they want to make a good impression. also the cops are watching how they conduct themselves, plus they got undercovers workin too there. so obviously they got to do what they do in security. imagine them losing theyre contract to plaza for just letting people slip by. the owner of genesis would be choked.

Security is jus doing what they gotta do. Half of them party themselves and are actually cool people. Heh I think some people like myself have done too much drugZ at parties and jus sketch out and get unnessisary paranoia about it. Jus at freedom I saw some girl freaken out she was odin or trippen out really badly and a security gaurd assisted her in a nice manner takin her to the emergency room. That to me is a good thing.

if you dont like security at plaza dont fucking go to the plaza
go find some party with little to no advertising. At freedom i was first in line talking with one of the security guards, Nice guy. As long as you people dont do anything wrong, security wont do anything. If you do your drugs and get busted, its your own fault. Espicially when it says (on the flyer) there is no illicit substances allowed in the party. - sonik

Genesis Security is contracted to take care of the Plaza of Nations so they will always be there...
I think it really depends on the individual... some of them are extremely nice and others can be a bit rude. You have to remember though that sometimes people are just really high and sketch out when they see security in general... stories kinda stem from that! Don't get me wrong, I have seen security guards be complete asses but I simply tell them what they did was uncalled for. If anything, if you are at a Twisted Plaza party and are EVER treated completely un-acceptable, then tell me and I will deal with it. Peace.
