Twisted 2002 - Full line-up & ticket info
Music for the Masses -- Another year has past and Twisted Productions continues to be a driving force in the Vancouver Electronic Scene. Over the past four years we have been proud to be a part of some of the wildest & most memorable parties this city has seen. This year, we are taking things one step further by presenting a line-up of some of our favorite DJ's from around the world, hitting you up in three different rooms with a mixture of the musical styles that this city wants to hear. Be prepared for what we are about to bring you as we re-invent the art of partying. For one night we will indulge your mind and saturate your body in an event that is beyond your imagination. We have prepared an incredible light and laser show to overwhelm your visual senses. Included in this will be another massive concert array from Masterplan and a 30 Watt Jag Laser from Laseronics that is powerful enough to write in the sky. To top it off, we are bringing out an additional Full Color Laser that will blow you away. Lush Plush and Endorphin Images will provide visual stimulants to melt your minds, while the crushing bass of our intense sound rig will make your heart beat for you. Today, Sakin is the resident DJ of Darmstadt's well-known club "Prodo-X" and belongs to the influential circle of DJ/Producers surround Taucher. In 1998, DJ Sakin delivered the perfect Trance-hymn on Overdose, "Protect Your Mind (BraveHeart)" - It has since established itself as the highlight of every club night and is a much-played hit on many radio stations in Germany. Since then he has continued to pump out chart toppers like "Dragonfly", "No Man's Land", & "Miami". Be prepared to hear some of the best Trance to ever hit this city. Miss Behavin : UK - Tidy Girls, Flipside DJ's, Sundissential, Bagley's, Heaven This cheeky DJ is currently taking the Euro club and party scene by storm, rocking crowds just like she did here back in October at Spooky 6! She is the newest member to the "Tidy Girls" label which also includes Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, Lisa Pin-UP & Rachel Auburn. 2002 is set to be her biggest year yet with her working at Insomnia, Sundissential, Frisky, Fully Charged and even Gatecrasher events. Don't "miss" out as she lays down a sick combination of Uplifting Hard House and Tribal Progressive. Irish Pete : London - Club U4RIA, Club Rub, D'Oh Boy Pete's played all across the globe including: South Africa at Kaos & 303 Club Tour, U4RIA's Auzie Tour, Sunny Side Up in Ibiza, the Australia Pickle Tour. He has not graced a Vancouver stage since New Years 2001 where he brought the house down with the best set of the night. Let's welcome Pete back to Vancouver as he drops another blend of slammin' Hard House, Intense NuNRG and Trance. Trav-S : Red Deer, AB - Club Euphoria, Nexus Tribe Alberta's Trance Master. With his blend of big builds, melodic grooves, and pounding beatz, his music is meant for none other than the big room. Be prepared as he leaves you breathless, ripping up the morning hours in a tag team set with our very own DJ Tazix. Azim - Twisted, Essential Entertainment Greg C - Twisted, Colorado Rave Tazix - Twisted, Crunk-It BC ROOM LINE-UP (Break-Beats / Jungle / Drum & Bass): DJ X : Florida - Xquizit Rec., Eastern Breaks Movement, Twisted Born a native New Yorker, X is today a resident of sunny Florida and the owner and operator of Florida-Based Xquizit Records, A record label known for "putting funky breakz on the map". DJ X who is established as a well know artist, DJ, producer and remix master with the accompaniment of other artists on the Xquizit/EBM and remixes, is responsible for over thirty 12" Vinyl releases on Xquizit Records and the Eastern Breaks Movement. He has also released four full length CD compilations of his own, including the billboard charted CD single entitled "Use Your Luv". DJ X has spun with the likes of Icey, Donald Glaude, and the UK diva Sonique to name a few. X is bac and here to party. DJ Trashy : Lafiet, Lousiana - Cage Records, Juice Records, Sanitary Soundz - DJ Trashy has been behind the wheelz for over 6 years now and has a lot to show for it. His resume includes such original tracks like 'Bounce It Like This' and 'Sounds of the Underground' under Juice Records and 'Got Bang' and 'ILL Stylz' under Cage Records. This doesn't include some of his serious remixes like 'Close My eyes', 'Axel F', 'Trash-o-ween', 'Wett Yet', 'Bassilicious Breakbeat' and so many more we don't have room to list them all. Trashy has played along side some well known DJ's such as Huda Hudia , DJ Micro and Vicious Vic. His unique style of House and Trance perfectly encapsulates current trends, showcasing the harder edge of progressive with a sexual tribal groove.
