hey.. check out bonsor community center every saturday from 5:30-8:30. Its 2 blks from metrotown, extremly skytrain friendly. Its an open gym...2 bucks drop in and ull find most the bboys there. I heard the ywca practice is back on, but ill confirm it before i post the times here...
winter is a bit quiet.. summer we all usually practice out at robson square, but right now its more our own lil spots, but bonsor is the weekly spot. as for clubs... if u keep an eye out for djs like wundercut, needle kineval, hedspin, blessed ull hear the bboy stuff... shine on friday/saturdays ull see breakers out, and honey on saturdays as well...blessed does the night there. honey is a pretty good spot, its usually pretty dead there, but that just means more room to practice, and its cheap cover and no line ups.... good luck, hopefully see you around. :) |

I went to this awesome battle at UBC once, but im not sure how often it happens. I've been wondering this myself actually..
But interms of the diggin a la vintage ;).. Check out Mintage on commercial..and FRIENCHIES DINER..while your in that area, just a block or two down...amazing food...in this 50's style diner...you sit on a '57 Chevy ...pictures of pin ups....ava gardner and humphrey bogart join you in the bathroom.....no juke but it's awesome..trust me. Also Retro Rock Vintage on the drive is great. Front..on Main st. has some good stuff usually..and from there...your eyes shall direct you to all the other places...Main has a lot of sweetness True Value on Granville is pricey..but wicked people work there "COUGH"...well used to...haha just kidding.. rad people all around that place :) But the trusty Value Village is my favorite.. what can i say.
