Hi Vancouver!
I am Mat Ste-Marie, DJ since 1990. In the last 17 years I have touched and been touched my many a different style of dance music, making it hard to narrow down to words what I play.

The best way to put it is this: I play underground dance music, with strong hints of House and Techno.

I recently moved to Vancouver from Montreal, and I am ready to move your feet and share with you my love of music.

If I struck your curiosity you can check me out soon @ Celebrities, it will be my 3rd visit there, 1st as a Vancouver resident. Please see listings for more details.

Shitty trance? Great, whatever floats your boat! I don't judge you ;)

All joking aside, if you really want to know, I chose the words underground dance music because I believe in stepping away from categories... At the end of the day it's really dance music and since I don't play any commercial records (not any new ones anyway)...

So no, not like saying "I listen to shitty trance" !! :)

I'm originally from montreal and based on your profile and all you sure have played at some of the finest events and clubs that have taken place or are in montreal. My cousin's normally chill at circus or club 1234

b0ld: I actually quit my residency at Circus when I moved to Vancouver. Club 1234 is cool too, last time I was there Louie Vega made sure I had done my work out that day! Oh, the memories...
